"Solidarity among Turkic states is of particular importance," President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said at the informal Summit of the Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States, APA’s correspondent dispatched to Turkistan reports.
“We are currently going through an extremely complex and rapidly changing international political environment. Geopolitical tensions are increasing both in the world and in the region. Armed conflicts, wars, and confrontations are not subsiding. We all see that all of this is negatively affecting the global economy. The impact of events taking place in nearby regions is already beginning to be felt. In such a period, solidarity among Turkic states is of particular importance. Because we are united by a common history and shared values. At present, taking into account the challenges of the time, Turkic states should further strengthen cooperation in the fields of economy and investment and combine their efforts toward common development. In this regard, it is extremely important that issues related to artificial intelligence and digital development are being discussed at today’s summit,” the President of Kazakhstan noted.
