Jeyhun Bayramov: Territorial claims must be removed from Armenian constitution and Minsk Group should be dissolved

"In order to achieve a final peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia, a referendum should be held in Armenia to remove territorial claims against Azerbaijan from the constitution, and the OSCE Minsk Group should be abolished," Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov said at a joint press conference with his Georgian counterpart Maka Bochorishvili, APA's Tbilisi correspondent reports.

"It is necessary to hold a referendum, take steps towards the abolition of the Minsk Process institutions, which have lost their significance and have no practical existence, as well as the Minsk Group," Jeyhun Bayramov noted.

He mentioned that during the meeting, he informed Maka Bochorishvili about the reconstruction and reconstruction work in the territories liberated from occupation, as well as the process of the return of former internally displaced persons to their ancestral lands, and the huge work being done. He stressed that the issue of landmines continues to be the primary barrier to ensuring a safe return
