Azerbaijani, Kazakh FMs hold phone talk

On September 4, a telephone conversation took place between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tleuberdi, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA.

During the telephone conversation, Minister Jeyhun Bayramov sincerely congratulated Mukhtar Tleuberdi on his appointment as foreign minister and wished him success.

The ministers discussed the current agenda of strategic relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, the current state of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, as well as prospects for developing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov noted with satisfaction that Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan relations are developing dynamically on the basis of the principles of friendship, brotherhood, mutual trust and solidarity. The importance of further expanding bilateral relations in all areas and enriching them with new content was emphasized.

During the conversation, the effective cooperation and mutual support between the two countries within international and regional organizations were also highly appreciated. The importance of continuing interaction and coordination of positions on multilateral platforms was noted.

During the telephone conversation, the sides also held a broad exchange of views on other regional and international issues of mutual interest.
