Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with Kaja Kallas, High Representative of the European Union (EU) for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice-President of the European Commission, Azerbaijani FM wrote on X, APA reports.
"In the margins of the high-level week of UN GA80, was glad to meet with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice-President of the European Commission Kaja Kallas.
We discussed Azerbaijan-EU cooperation, future plans and prospects, as well as regional security situation.
The importance of maintaining regular and high-level exchanges was highlighted as a means of fostering deeper mutual understanding, building trust, and advancing shared interests.
We also discussed the outcomes of the recent historic Washington summit and underlined the importance of sustaining momentum and continuing dialogue to resolve the remaining outstanding issues in the peace process," added FM.
