On May 1, a group of Italian MPs, members of the Italy-Azerbaijan interparliamentary friendship group, visited Khankendi during their official visit to Azerbaijan, APA’s Karabakh Bureau reports.
The guests were welcomed by the special representative of the President of Azerbaijan for Khankendi, Agdara, and Khojali districts. During the visit, the guests toured the "Victory" square and were briefed on the ongoing restoration efforts there. They also visited the Khankendi branch of the Karabakh University.
The deputies were accompanied by Azer Karimli, a member of the Milli Majlis and head of the Working Group for the Azerbaijani-Italian Interparliamentary Relations, along with other official representatives.
