On March 12, 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov met with Timčo Mucunski, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of the Republic of North Macedonia, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan told APA.
During the meeting, the existing bilateral cooperation agenda between Azerbaijan and North Macedonia, the development of political dialogue, and the expansion of cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, energy, and tourism were discussed.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov briefing his counterpart about the situation in the region in the post-conflict period, restoration and reconstruction works, mine threats, and the normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, highlighted the efforts of Azerbaijan to establish peace and security in the region.
After the meeting, a signing ceremony of the agreement on the exemption from visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and service/official passports between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia was held with the participation of both ministers.
