Isaac Herzog, President of Israel has shared a post on his X account over plane crash near Aktau city, APA reports.
"I was very saddened by the terrible tragedy of the Azerbaijan Airlines plane from Baku which has crashed near Aktau this morning. I send my deepest condolences to Presiedent of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the people of Azerbaijan, and the families of all nationalities who have lost their loved ones. I pray for the speedy recovery of all those injured," he noted.
Note that an Azerbaijan Airlines aircraft performing flight J2-8243 from Baku to Grozny, an Embraer 190 airplane, crashed 3 km near the city of Aktau. There were 67 passengers and 5 crew members on board.
