Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran, co-chair of the Iran-Azerbaijan Intergovernmental Commission, Farzaneh Sadeghi, will visit Azerbaijan today, the minister's advisor told Iranian media, APA reports.
It was stated that Farzaneh Sadeghi will visit Azerbaijan at the initiative of Azerbaijan's Deputy Prime Minister and co-chair of the Azerbaijan-Iran Intergovernmental Commission, Shahin Mustafayev.
During the visit, the current status of joint projects in the fields of transportation, customs, water, energy, oil and gas, and trade will be discussed.
Negotiations will be held during the visit, and preparations will be made regarding the expected visit of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, to Azerbaijan.
