"Iran will not spare any effort to support the acceleration and signing of a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan," said Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi during a meeting with Secretary of Armenia’s Security Council Armen Grigoryan, APA reports.
The minister emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran maintains constructive relations with both Armenia and Azerbaijan:
“Iran calls for accelerating the signing of a peace agreement between the two countries to help ensure lasting stability and security and to contribute to comprehensive development and progress in the region,” Araqchi noted.
He added that Iran stands ready to make efforts to facilitate the process.
Notably, Grigoryan is visiting Iran to attend the “Tehran Dialogue Forum 2025” and met with Araqchi earlier today.
