I congratulate the people of Azerbaijan on the liberation of their occupied territories and the restoration of their sovereignty, said Mojtaba Demirchilou, Iran’s ambassador to Azerbaijan, during his visit to Zangilan within the framework of the international conference on “Uniting efforts and enhancing cooperation for addressing the issue of missing persons,” APA reports.
The ambassador said that he had worked in Baku in the past and had looked towards Karabakh from Goygol 27 years ago: “I hoped that these lands would be liberated and that I would be in these places. I am very glad that my wish has come true. Once again, I congratulate the people and the state of Azerbaijan on this great achievement.”
