Iran commends the agreement on the peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia, said the spokesperson of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ismail Baghaei, APA reports.
He stated that Iran commends the agreement on the provisions of the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
The ministry official evaluated this step as an important move towards establishing long-term stability and peace in the South Caucasus.
"We hope that the parties will resolve their differences through dialogue and diplomacy, sign the peace treaty soon, and as a result, ensure lasting peace and stability in the region," Baghaei emphasized.
