Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov has participated and delivered a speech at the panel titled "On War and Peace: The Return of "Realpolitik" within the framework of the 11th Global Baku Forum, the Ministry told APA.
During his speech, Minister Jeyhun Bayramov noted that in order to understand the existing crises and challenges in the current system of international relations, as well as to respond to them, it is important to properly comprehend firstly how the modern system works, and at the same time, how it differs from previous systems.
It was stressed that a number of tools that existed years ago to fight global threats, including international organizations, show a selective approach by expressing the interests of only a limited number of countries, which along with making the mentioned mechanisms ineffective, leads to the undermining of trust in them.
