The issue of including the Almaty Declaration in the peace treaty should be discussed during the meeting of the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Almaty, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during today's press conference, APA reports.
According to him, the Almaty Declaration has been accepted by both sides as the basic principle of demarcation between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Pashinyan noted that delimitation is being carried out based on the most recent maps of the Soviet Union, using maps reflecting the borders of Soviet Armenia and Soviet Azerbaijan during the period of the dissolution of the USSR.
The Prime Minister also mentioned that border posts are being established in the direction of Gazakh on legal grounds and Voskepar, Kirants, Berkaber, and overall Armenia's security are being ensured.
