“During our visit to Syria, we expressed solidarity with our brothers and sisters who have entered a critical stage in the restoration of statehood, Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Yalchin Rafiyev, who is on a visit to Syria, wrote this on his “X” account, APA reports.
The Deputy Minister wished the interim government of the mentioned country success in this path:
“I would like to thank our dear brothers for the hospitality. In Damascus, we expressed solidarity with our Syrian brothers and sisters who have entered a critical stage in the restoration of statehood of the Republic of Azerbaijan. We wish you success in this important beginning.”
It should be noted that within the framework of the visit, Yalchin Rafiyev met with Assad Hassan Ash-Shibani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Syrian transitional government.
Y. Rafiyev stated that our country would provide all possible support to Azerbaijan in the newly emerging important stage, as well as in the process of restoring Syria.
The Deputy Minister also drew attention to the fact that the experience of Azerbaijan, which has liberated its lands from occupation, in the field of reconstruction and construction can be used in the process of rebuilding Syria.
