"If the French government does not change its strategy and vision regarding Islamophobia, France may face a civil war in the next 10 years," Director of the European Arab Academy for Geostrategic Studies Mohammed El Maazouz said as he delivered a speech during the panel discussion on "Anti-Islamic Policy in France: Normalization of Islamophobia" whithin the framework of the Baku-hosted international scientific conference on “Embracing Diversity: Tackling Islamophobia in 2024”, APA reports.

Speaking about the roots, structuring and indoctrination methods of Islamophobia, he stated that according to recent research, Islamophobia speeches in publications have increased by 31% compared to previous years: "If the French government does not change its strategy and vision, France will face a civil war and this may happen in the next 10 years."
