The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) will close its office in Baku on September 3, Daphnée Maret, head of the ICRC in Armenia told journalists, APA reports, citing Armenian media.
According to her, nevertheless, work will continue with the Azerbaijani leadership.
The organization’s representative recalled that the peace agreement text between Yerevan and Baku states the necessity of working with international organizations to clarify the fate of missing persons. The Red Cross will offer its services as a neutral organization.
