The use of the words "investigation" and "research" in the draft of the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace agreement is commendable, said Kathryne Bomberger, Director General of the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP), during her speech at the international conference on "Uniting efforts and enhancing cooperation for addressing the issue of missing persons", APA reports.

"The initialing of the peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia is a very important progress. By the way, this is the first time I have come across the words "investigation" and "research" being used in a peace agreement," Kathryne Bomberger noted.

She called this moment an important step in terms of investigating the fate of persons missing as a result of the conflict and informing their families.
