The Secretary-General of the International Defence Organization (ICDO), Arguj Kalantarli, met with the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Cameroon to the UN Office at Geneva and other international organizations, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Salomon Eheth, at the organization's headquarters in Geneva, APA reports.
During the meeting, the existing cooperative relations and issues of mutual interest between the Republic of Cameroon and the ICDO were discussed, and a broad exchange of views was held on the current opportunities and future prospects for the development of joint cooperation.
Within the framework of the meeting, issues such as civil protection, emergency preparedness and response measures, knowledge and experience exchange were in the spotlight, and the importance of joint activities in particular in preventing emergencies, eliminating their consequences, and increasing resilience to emergencies was emphasized.
