ICDO Secretary-General met with Jordanian Permanent Representative, APA reports.

ICDO Secretary-General Arguj Kalantarli met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Akram Sa'ud Harahsheh, Permanent Representative of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the UN Office at Geneva and the Specialized Agencies in Switzerland, at the organization's headquarters.

It was reported that the main focus of the meeting was on the exchange of views on strengthening institutional cooperation between the ICDO and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Areas of mutual interest, such as civil protection, capacity building, disaster risk management, and current relevant regional issues, were discussed.

During the discussions, confidence was expressed that the ICDO is ready to support Member States in increasing their national resilience through joint programs, technical cooperation, and professional training initiatives.

The parties emphasized the importance of continued cooperation to achieve common goals in the field of civil protection and emergency preparedness.
