Hungary's relations with Azerbaijan are excellent, said Istvan Kiss, Executive Director of the Danube Institute of Hungary, in his statement to APA.
According to him, Hungary and Azerbaijan have a very strong economic potential for cooperation: "In the last 10-12 years, we have had very strong diplomatic relations. Therefore, our relations are excellent."
The expert also touched upon the relations between Hungary and the European Union: "Most of the attacks against Hungary are of a political nature. We do not believe in some of the issues that the European Union considers as values. Therefore, we have certain political tensions with the European Union. However, these are mainly political and ideological issues, not economic or social ones."
