“Antalya is not only a tourism center of the world, but today it is also playing host to such a prestigious event as one of diplomatic centers of the world. A large number of participants are attending the forum. We express our gratitude to Türkiye for inviting a large delegation of Azerbaijan to the event,” Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev told journalists, APA reports.
Emphasizing that the Antalya Diplomacy Forum will feature important panels on the South Caucasus, the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), and the Turkic world as a whole, the Assistant to the President said that Azerbaijan would share its vision at the forum.
"During his inaugural speech after the elections, President Ilham Aliyev has defined new directions and priorities of Azerbaijan's foreign policy and its vision of the world. Azerbaijan has brought such a prestigious event as COP29 to our region. During the Forum, Azerbaijan's vision of the further development of peace and cooperation in the South Caucasus region will be conveyed to our colleagues and the entire audience,” Hikmet Hajiyev added.
