"President Ilham Aliyev's open and direct communication with the media plays an important role in preventing disinformation campaigns," Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration, told journalists at the 3rd Shusha Global Media Forum, APA's correspondent sent to Shusha reports.
Hikmet Hajiyev said that Azerbaijan has always been subjected to disinformation attacks: "Many of these attacks originated from Western sources: "Currently, this process is being carried out more actively and systematically on social media. An example of this is the materials published in the French publication "Le Figaro". President Ilham Aliyev's open and direct communication with the media plays an important role in preventing such disinformation campaigns."
