Azerbaijan is distinguished by its ethnic and religious diversity, it is famous in the world, President Ilham Aliyev said this in an interview with the media regarding the results of his visit to the US,APA reports.
The President said that all religious monuments in Azerbaijan are protected by the state: “There have been no problems on religious and ethnic grounds in Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan is currently the center of multiculturalism. In our country, different ethnic groups, people belonging to different religions continue to live as one family. Today, some are still either unaware of reality or want to create a false impression on purpose. Others are aware of the situation.”
