Twenty-nine Italian citizens leaving Iran by land arrived in Azerbaijan, said Italy’s Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, APA reports.
The minister noted that significant work has been done in this process and thanked the Italian embassies in Tehran and Baku, as well as the Farnesina Crisis Unit operating under the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Antonio Tajani stated that efforts continue to ensure the safety of Italian citizens living in the region: “They will never be deprived of the full support of the Italian state.”
