"It is very gratifying to see Azerbaijani people with us in our fight for independence," Chair of the New Caledonian Congress Committee on Infrastructure, Spatial Planning, Sustainable Development, Energy, Transport and Communications Naisseline Omayra said at a conference dedicated to the topic of "History, Contemporary Challenges and Expected Future" in Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis, APA reports.
"This Memorandum signed between the two countries contains political support in itself. This means that we will develop our cooperation in economy, culture and a number of other fields. We thank you on behalf of our colleagues and the Kanak people," she added.
