A delegation led by Adalat Valiyev, Head of the Department for Relations with Political Parties and Legislative Authority of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan, is on a visit to Türkiye, APA reports.
As part of the visit, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (GNAT) Numan Kurtulmus received the delegation headed by Adalat Valiyev.
During the meeting, the GNAT Speaker said that they aim to further develop the bilateral relations and cooperation between Türkiye and Azerbaijan, which have risen to the level of alliance with the signing of the Shusha Declaration, and stressed their belief in the special importance of parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening ties across all areas.
Numan Kurtulmus additionally noted that they attach particular importance to the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation mechanisms.
