"There is no single recipe for peace that can be applied everywhere," Frank-Walter Steinmeier, President of the Federal Republic of Germany, said during a joint press statement with Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
The German President noted that mutual trust must be built gradually. Recalling the numerous wars between Germany and France, Steinmeier emphasized that today, these nations have left the past behind and become friendly peoples: "Efforts must be made and work must be done to ensure peaceful coexistence in the South Caucasus as well."
