"The essence of Georgia’s pragmatic and multi-vector foreign policy is to preserve peace and independence," said Georgia's President Mikheil Kavelashvili during his annual report to parliament, APA’s local bureau reports.

He noted that Georgia is pursuing a policy of peace and has demonstrated this through its actions.

“This is of fundamental importance not only for our country, but also for the security of the entire region,” Kavelashvili added.

According to the President, taking into account the current international situation, Georgia can become a key country for the implementation of internationally significant projects:

“We can promote the economic integration of Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, strengthen the South Caucasus’ status as a regional hub, and further deepen our ties with partner countries. In this regard, important steps were taken by the government in 2025. I would also like to highlight my visits to Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Türkiye aimed at further deepening relations with neighboring countries and reinforcing peace in the region.”
