"On the one hand, peace and stability in the region, and on the other hand, Georgia's existing relations with Armenia and Azerbaijan, will play a decisive role in the development of the Middle Corridor," Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili said in an interview with Imedi TV channel, APA's local bureau reports.

The minister called the peace achieved between Azerbaijan and Armenia a historic chance for the region.

"The conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan has ended, and both sides are also trying to find ways to cooperate within the framework of regional projects. This is a new reality for us and new opportunities for the region," Bochorishvili added.

The Foreign Minister also noted that with the development of the Middle Corridor, the region will become an important geopolitical center.

"In the current situation, we are observing changes in supply chains and geopolitical conditions. It is impossible to deny the growing importance of the Middle Corridor," the minister added.
