"We have directed all our power to provision of peace, progress and welfare in the region with Azerbaijani counterparts," said Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia Vladimer Konstantinidi told APA's correspondent in Tbilisi.
According to the Deputy FM, Georgia has always actively participated in processes serving peace and stability in the region.
He emphasized that Georgia is implementing important economic projects together with Azerbaijan, and that his country is ready to implement other promising projects with Azerbaijan.
"Of course, it is no secret that we are implementing very important economic projects together with Azerbaijan. It is enough to mention strategically important international economic projects. This has been going on successfully for years, and we are ready to consider all promising and interesting projects that we will implement together with Azerbaijan in the future."
Emphasizing Georgians and Azerbaijanis are brotherly nations, Vladimer Konstantinidi has congratulated people of Azerbaijani on the occasion of Independence Day.
"We congratulate the brotherly people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of Independence Day. We are very happy that many of our compatriots and colleagues are participating in the event organized by the Embassy of Azerbaijan. There is no need to talk about how close, friendly and strong relations we have with our friend Azerbaijan.
