Georgia to continue promoting dialogue and constructive cooperation between Azerbaijan and Armenia

Georgia will continue to promote dialogue and constructive cooperation between Azerbaijan and Armenia that serves the interests of the entire region, APA’s local bureau reports, citing the draft state budget of Georgia for 2026.

According to the section on international relations, Georgia will remain ready to host discussions on any current issues between Azerbaijan and Armenia, both in a bilateral format and in a trilateral format involving Georgia. The draft emphasizes that these efforts will help restore trust and enable mutual cooperation.

The document also notes that Georgia will continue its balanced neighborhood policy in the coming years, based on respect for territorial integrity and sovereignty, friendly neighborly relations, and the promotion of peace and stability in the region.

The draft further highlights Georgia-Azerbaijan-Türkiye cooperation. It states that collaboration on regionally and globally significant projects will continue within this important trilateral format, with active sectoral interaction.

The Georgian Ministry of Finance has already submitted the draft law to the country’s parliament, where discussions are scheduled to begin on October 7.
