Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with his Armenian counterpart Nikol Pashinyan, said the press service of the Georgian government, APA’s Tbilisi correspondent reports.
It was noted that in the one-on-one meeting held within the framework of the Georgian head of government's business visit to Armenia, the main directions of cooperation between the two countries and regionally important issues were considered.
The sides touched upon the security environment and challenges in the region and world.
Garibashvili noted that Georgia is ready to continue playing the role of mediation among the neighboring countries for ensuring peace and security in the region.
