Garabagh war, President Ilham Aliyev's personality factor discussed in Algeria

The presentation ceremony of the Arabic edition of the book "The History of the Patriotic War. The Personality Factor," a joint project of the Baku City Executive Authority and the Institute of History, was held in the capital of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, APA reports.

Officials of the country, ambassadors and diplomats of foreign countries accredited in Algeria, prominent public-political, scientific, and cultural figures of the country, representatives of mass media, as well as Azerbaijanis working and studying in the country, have attended the event.

Tural Rzayev, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, Nargiz Akhundova, a full member of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, Doctor of Historical Sciences, and academician, and others who were delivering speech in the event, talking about the significance of the book "The History of the Patriotic War. The Personality Factor," said that the book reflects the Glorious Victory achieved in the Patriotic War and the wise policies, determination, high intellect, military leadership qualities, and the personality factor of President Ilham Aliyev, the architect of this Victory.

It was noted that this book, as one of the first attempts to generalize the history of the war, has been published in 10 languages and presented in several countries around the world.

During the ceremony, a film was screened to the guests about Azerbaijan, the liberated territories, and the large-scale reconstruction work carried out in these areas. Azerbaijani national music was played for the guests, and a banquet was organized at the end.
