The Egyptian government announced today the list of leaders who will participate in the Peace Summit to be held in Sharm el-Sheikh, APA reports.
The list includes the names of many heads of state and government, as well as President Ilham Aliyev.
According to Egypt's official MENA news agency, the following government officials will attend the summit:
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, US President Donald Trump, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Jordanian King Abdullah II, Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides.
Germany, Iraq, Great Britain, Italy, Spain, Greece, Armenia, Hungary, Pakistan, Canada, Norway, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait are expected to participate at the level of prime ministers.
It was announced that Omani Foreign Minister Badr al-Busaidi, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Abu Gheyt, Council of Europe President Antonio Costa, Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, and Japanese Ambassador to Cairo Fumio Iwai will also attend the summit.
