U.S. President Donald Trump has a great opportunity to establish peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, former U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan and former OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair Matthew Bryza said in an interview with Vesti.az, APA reports.
Bryza noted that Azerbaijan and Armenia are close to a peace agreement.
"We know that both sides are close to an agreement, but Pashinyan is facing serious political resistance. I hope Trump wants to contribute," the political analyst emphasized.
According to Matthew Bryza, Trump is currently focused on strengthening his power in Washington and achieving peace between Ukraine and Russia.
