“Let's be honest, despite we implement all the reforms, the membership to the European Union will still not be easy,” said Mladen Ivanić, the former 6th Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the panel discussion within the framework of XI Global Baku Forum, APA reports.

“Even if we become one of the best countries, the answer we will receive from EU will be – no, it’s still too early,” he added.

Mladen Ivanić asked for being notified concretely about the missing conditions for membership.

“In this case, for example, we can set a specific condition for ourselves to overcome these shortcomings in 10 years and become a member. I think that the concept of European Union should not include only western political thought,” he added.
