"Azerbaijan's active role in U.S. policy has great potential,"former Foreign Minister Tofiq Zulfugarov told APA TV.
He added that a new page will be opened in relations between the U.S. and Azerbaijan.
"Relations between the U.S. and Azerbaijan were in a crisis during former President Joe Biden’s term. It has been reported that Biden himself was not seriously engaged in foreign policy. Some of the people around him who shaped the political elements had a pro-Armenian stance. But after Donald Trump came to power, great expectations arose, and we believe that a new page will be opened in the relations between the two countries," the former foreign minister noted.
