Azerbaijan currently chairs the meeting of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) and will host the CICA's 7th Summit in 2026, said Ambassador Yan Wenbin, an official from the Department of European-Central Asian Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, at the 13th session of the CICA Think Tank Forum, APA reports.
According to him, China will work with all parties to support Azerbaijan’s chairmanship and will actively contribute to the implementation of confidence-building measures in various fields within the CICA framework, as well as to the successful holding of the CICA Summit.
