"We have witnessed a significant revitalization in the context of the EU-Azerbaijan dialogue since the beginning of 2025," said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at a joint press conference with Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna in Baku, APA reports.
The minister recalled the visit of Kaja Kallas to Azerbaijan and her meetings held here: “Visits to our country by EU commissioners responsible for energy and enlargement issues have greatly revitalized this dialogue. Cooperation in the energy sector has significantly expanded today. Since the end of 2020, Azerbaijan has started supplying gas to the European market, and following the EU’s request, these supplies have increased considerably. Azerbaijan is a leading country in the world in supplying gas through pipelines. Gas is delivered via pipelines to 14 countries, 10 of which are European nations.”
