“The Abraham Accords are an agreement reached between Israel and certain Arab states,” said Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, at a press conference summarizing the results of the year, APA reports.
The minister noted that under this agreement, Arab states that previously had no relations with Israel established ties with the country.
“This happened within the framework of the Abraham Accords. However, Azerbaijan and Israel have multifaceted relations with a long history. That is why this issue seems somewhat surprising to us,” Jeyhun Bayramov added.
