The views expressed by President Ilham Aliyev in Washington have once again proven that Azerbaijan is interested in achieving a just peace, said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at a special meeting dedicated to President Ilham Aliyev's visit to Washington held at the Cabinet of Ministers, APA reports.
The Minister said that Türkiye's role in this process is of particular importance:
"Türkiye has supported Azerbaijan's rightful position internationally, and coordinated and synchronized steps during the process have made a positive contribution. Türkiye's active position has played an important role in ensuring stability. In turn, we regularly inform the Turkish side about the measures taken and are moving together towards lasting peace."
