Azerbaijan is interested in expanding cooperation with international partners in the Caspian region, energy security, and mine clearance, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at a joint press conference with Swiss Federal Councillor, Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs and OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Ignazio Cassis, APA reports.
The minister said that Azerbaijan attaches great importance to international cooperation in the fields of energy security, water resources management, modern technologies, and other areas.
"Mine clearance is one of the most serious humanitarian challenges for Azerbaijan. In this regard, the practical support that international partners, including the OSCE within its mandate, can provide is of particular importance," Jeyhun Bayramov stressed.
The minister noted that Azerbaijan's regional projects and cooperation initiatives in the Caspian basin also create significant opportunities for international partnership.
