Flag lowered to half-mast at Azerbaijan's Embassy in Israel, book of condolences opened

On December 26, the state flag at the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the State of Israel was lowered to half-mast, according to the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the State of Israel, APA reports.

It was noted that a book of condolences was opened at the Embassy on December 26–27.

Note that ambassadors and diplomats from several countries visited the Embassy to offer condolences, and more than 60 diplomatic missions sent letters of condolence to the Embassy.

Recall that by an Order signed by President Ilham Aliyev, a national day of mourning was declared on December 26 in connection with the loss of many lives in the crash of the Embraer 190 passenger plane operating the Baku-Grozny route on December 25.
