A meeting of the Standing Committee on Sustainable Development was held at the 149th assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, APA reports.
At the meeting, discussions were held on the final document draft of the parliamentary meeting to be held within the framework of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).
Soltan Mammadov told APA that he gave detailed information about the proposals of the member of parliament representing member countries of the organization regarding the draft document.
He talked about the additions and changes made to the project based on these suggestions. He noted that the draft document was drawn up based on the discussions on the resolution adopted in the 148th assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, and the agenda of COP sessions held in recent years.
