“Geopolitical issues and the future activities of civil society were discussed at the meeting held within the framework of the ‘Peace Bridge’ initiative,” said Farhad Mammadov, coordinator of the initiative and Director of the South Caucasus Research Center, APA reports.
He made the remarks at a press conference held on the meeting of experts from Azerbaijani and Armenian civil societies within the framework of the initiative.
“Today, four discussion sessions were held within the ‘Peace Bridge’ initiative. The first two sessions were of a geopolitical and political science nature. The third and fourth sessions focused on the future activities of civil societies. The symbolic significance of this meeting is that passage is carried out through the delimited and demarcated section of the land border, and all border crossing procedures are implemented,” Mammadov noted.
