The new Asian order cannot be sustainable and inclusive without the participation of women, said Roza Bayramli, leading advisor at the Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center), during her speech at a side event of the 13th meeting of the CICA Think Tank Forum, APA reports.
Roza Bayramli emphasized the important role of women in the cultural, economic, and social development of countries in the Asian region.
She noted that women play a crucial role both in proposing ideas and in the implementation phase.
Bayramli also pointed out that in some CICA countries, the share of women in parliaments is less than 20%.
“Women actively participate in building ethnic dialogue. In Azerbaijan, women also contribute to intercommunity communication,” the lead advisor at the Center for Analysis of International Relations said.
