Expanded meeting between Azerbaijani, Somali FMs was held

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia Ahmed Moallim Fiqi met in an expanded format to discuss prospects of strengthening bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Somalia, Azerbaijani MFA posted in this regard on its X account, APA reports.

"The sides also exchanged views on mechanisms to utilize potential of various fields for cooperation, including economy, trade, energy security, etc., as well as they acknowledged UN, NAM, OIC, and COP29 presidency as one of the important platforms for engagement. Post-conflict regional reconstruction and peace efforts of Azerbaijan were also discussed during the meeting," the post says.
