“We are currently going through a very important period in which new opportunities have opened up for full-scale normalization between Azerbaijan and Armenia,” said EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Magdalena Grono while speaking about her visit to Nakhchivan, APA reports.
According to her, the opening of roads and the establishment of cooperation are of great importance for the prosperity of the entire region.
The special representative noted that she has the mandate, on behalf of the European Union, to support all aspects of regional cooperation and normalization efforts: “As a partner, we provide support to both Azerbaijan and Armenia in building regional connections, transport corridors, and other areas, and we are ready to continue this cooperation.”
