The EU "observers," stationed at the border with Azerbaijan and engaged in gathering intelligence materials, have become more active recently.
Previously, media reports had circulated showing footage of eight members of the EU mission and Armenian soldiers using surveillance equipment to monitor Azerbaijani territories near the state border. Many interpreted this as a preparation for provocation against Azerbaijan by the EU and Armenia.
New information and footage have recently been received by APA regarding this situation, suggesting that concerns are not unfounded.
It has become clear that today, around 13:10, the "observers" were positioned on a road in the Kornidzor village area of the Gorus district, accompanied by Armenian soldiers in two EU-owned Toyota vehicles.
It was recorded that 4 "observers" and 4 Armenian soldiers who came to the territory with 1 "Niva" and 1 "UAZ Patriot" passenger car belonging to Armenia, observed the territories of Azerbaijan with surveillance devices.
The observation was carried out in the direction of the former "Lachin Corridor".
This activation shows once again that the possibility of sabotage is not unreasonable.
The border "raids" of the EU "observers" together with the Armenian military can be evaluated as the activation of revanchist forces in Armenia, the arming of the country, and a more unconstructive position in the negotiations.
With this, the EU demonstrates once again that it is not interested in achieving peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia. On the contrary, it encourages Armenia to revanchism, pushes it to withdraw from peace negotiations with Azerbaijan.
