“Today’s summit of the European Political Community was truly historic,” said President of the European Council António Costa at a press conference held within the framework of the European Political Community summit in Yerevan, APA reports.
He highly appreciated the participation of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, in the event via video link.
According to the EU leader, the summit held in Yerevan, where President Ilham Aliyev delivered a speech, will always be remembered as a peace summit in the Caucasus.
Costa said that this progress was achieved as a result of bold political decisions and patient diplomatic efforts.
